(COMMON EVENT)

This stage is set to search for the most exciting Short film. Do you have what it takes to reach the Globe?

RULES:

  • Each team can contain a maximum of 2 members. The team members can be from different educational institutions but a valid ID card is essential.
  • The film must be copied in a Pen drive or a Video CD/DVD (no other forms will be considered for participation)

FORMAT:

The films may be shot in MPEG4 or AVI or WMV format. The recommended ratio is 16:9 with a minimum of 1 minute to a maximum of 15 minutes in length (including the Intro, Title and End credits) The Judge’s decision will be final. The members who are registering must have the Proper copyright of the film or must be a vital part of the film. If requested must produce the Raw Footage for verification.

BRAINS ELECTRIFIED (ELECTRICAL QUIZ)

This event is not a general topic quiz competition. But questions will be based on Electricals and Electronics only.

RULES:

    Round 1: Connexion
  • This round is the connexion game event where the connections questions will be based on EEE.
  • Only 5 teams will be selected for the next round
  • Round 2: Snakes and ladders
  • This is a snakes and ladders game. Rolling a dice, snake bite are present to check your luck and knowledge. For each number u step on, you have to answer correctly to move forward.

POWER CRISIS MANAGEMENT

It tests the ability of the participant to simplify circuits and solve power system related problems.

  • Round one: Circuit Simplification
  • The participant must reduce the given circuit using appropriate theorems, laws and conversions. (Kirchhoff’s laws, Star-Delta conversion etc).
    Details such as Power source and equipments to be used will be mentioned and the user must design the circuit as required by the user.
    Note: the equipments must be used that are already in use. (No fictional component )
  • Round two: power crisis management
  • This round will be in the form of Tap-Jam. Based on a crisis situation one participant will start and other should find a fault in his/her explanation and continue or explain an alternative solution. ( a participant can talk for a maximum of one minute )

KENSHO CIRCUIT DESIGN CHALLENGE

This event is to test the EEEian in you. Our department basic circuit design is the challenge.2 members / team

    LEVEL 1 - PRELIMS:
  • This round will include multiple choice question test. 30 questions will be given. Question will be based on "BASIC ELECTRONICS & CIRCUITS".
  • Time allotted 30 minutes.
  • Top six teams will be selected for finals.
  • LEVEL 2- FINALS:
  • Finals would be conducted in a time span of 1 hour.
  • Each team will be given with a set of questions to design the circuit.
  • The team which scores the maximum point will be the winner.
  • Decisions made by judges will be final and will not be liable for questioning

CRIME, CLUES and DANGER (Forensics):

To those nosy detectives out there this event is especially for you. Pull up your pants, clear your nose and smell the crime happened on the location.

RULES:

  • There will be altogether 2 rounds.
  • Participants can form a team of 2-3 members.

  • FIRST ROUND ( Written Round):
  • Teams will be given puzzles which they have to solve within the time limit.
  • Based on their performance, teams will be qualified for the next round.

  • SECOND ROUND ( Crime Scene Investigation):
  • Teams will be given a crime scene, where various clues will be present.
  • Teams should find them, analyze and solve the crime.
  • Time constraints apply.
  • The first two teams that solve the crime, wins the event.

  • This round has one game which is quite tough compared to the other two
  • The winner will be provided with cash awards
